Where is Farmer Ed’s Pumpkin Patch located?
We're based at:
Towthorpe Grange, Towthorpe Moor Lane, York, YO32 9ST UK
Just a short drive from York city centre.
Do I need tickets?
Yes – we recommend booking in advance to guarantee entry, especially on busy weekends.

What can I do at the Pumpkin Patch?
Lots! Highlights include:
- Pick-your-own pumpkins – straight from the field
- Instagram-worthy photo spots
- Marshmallow toasting over open fire pits
- Pumpkin-themed pitch-and-putt golf
- Tasty street food with autumn treats
- Farmer Ed’s Market – featuring decorative gourds, fresh produce, and harvest décor
Is it Muddy?!
Farmer Ed’s Pumpkin Patch is located in the fields that have grown the pumpkins. It will be muddy, so please wear sensible footwear and please note that wheelchair access may be limited to the front patch.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes – well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome!
Is this event just for kids?
Not at all! Farmer Ed’s Pumpkin Patch is for everyone – families, couples, friends, and solo adventurers. Whether you're on a cute autumn date, a photo mission, or a countryside escape, you're welcome here.
What should I wear?
It’s a working farm, so dress for the weather – and wear sensible shoes or boots. It can be muddy!

It’s our pop-up autumn shop full of:
- Decorative gourds
- Seasonal produce
- Locally made gifts and harvest decorations

Yes – free on-site parking is available for all visitors.

Who is Farmer Ed?
Farmer Ed Sykes leads the family business and has been growing pumpkins for 20 years. His family has farmed in North Yorkshire for five generations, and the new Pumpkin Patch is his way of sharing the joy of farming and autumn with you!
