Christmas - What is involved in the Magical Christmas experience?

The Piglets Adventure Farm Christmas Experience begins with a magical sleigh ride, chartered by Elf Airlines, to Santa's Woodland Village. Passengers are greeted by Mrs Christmas and welcomed into Santas cosy grotto. Well behaved children can share their Christmas wishes with Santa and in return receive a Magic Key to unlock his famous Toy Shop where they can choose any gift they like!

Then walk through the twinkling Woodland Village to Santas cabin where adults recieve a delicious warm mince pie and a chance to enjoy a mulled wine or hot drink in the Tepee complete with open log fire, where you can mix reindeer food to take home to entice Rudolph.

Included in your ticket price this year is a visit to our Animal barn and also a tractor trailer ride to the Bale Play Barn.

Please note, the Farm Park and its play areas are not open during the Christmas event .

Christmas - Is Piglets Adventure Farm open during the Christmas event?

The Christmas experience takes place in our purpose built Woodland Village with many under cover areas protected from any inclement winter weather. As the majority of Piglets Adventure Farm is an outdoor attraction we are unable to open many of our play facilities due to health and safety stipulations.

The Animal Barn and the Bale Play Barn, new for 2017, are included in the price and provide indoor space to play.

Christmas - Can I purchase a ticket in-store or on the day?

If by chance there is availability on the day then yes you may book tickets through the Elf at the Check-in Desk. You can book tickets right up to 20 minutes before a flight departure. However we strongly advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Christmas - How do I redeem my 10% Piglets Adventure Farm membership discount?

All our members receive 10% discount for Sleigh Ride tickets.  All you need to do is email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com with the member names and the membership numbers and we’ll send you a unique discount code. You will need to enter this code when purchasing tickets which will be cross checked against our membership database.

Christmas - Do you offer a discount for Disabled/Carers?

Yes we offer a 10% discount. To receive your 10% discount, please email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com to request your code which we will email to you. You will need to enter this code when purchasing tickets and your 10% discount will be automatically deducted.

Christmas - Where does the Sleigh Ride depart from?

You will be greeted by a member of the Elf Airlines check in team in the entrance to Piglets Adventure Farm. Who will issue you with your valid bording pass for the your sleigh. The elves will guide you to the sleigh port where you will pass through elf-security and wait to be called to the departure gate. We hope you enjoy your flight with Elf Airlines!

Christmas - What time should I arrive for the Sleigh Ride?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your sleigh time. This allows you time to check in and pass through elf security. Each sleigh must leave on time and unfortunately we cannot wait for late arrivals. Children can write and post a letter to Santa whilst waiting in the departure lounge of the sleigh port and there is also the Animal Barn and Bale Play Barn attractions to visit before or after your Sleigh ride.

Christmas - I've booked my slot after 4.30pm, what time does the experience end?

The experience will be open until 7.30pm on days with Sleigh Rides departing after 4.30pm. We recommend that those of you riding after 4.30pm arrive approximately an hour before your booked slot so you can visit the animals and write a letter to Santa before journeying to the Woodland Village, as we would like you to get the most out of your experience and not feel rushed.

Christmas - How many passengers are there on each sleigh?

There are 22 seats available on each Sleigh Ride. The booking system shows when there are 10 or less remaining spaces available.

Christmas - Are there any additional fees to pay?

There is no additional admission fee; the prices are inclusive of the Sleigh Ride to the Woodland Village, as well as all the Magical Christmas Experience activities.

The only extras will be food and refreshments in the Cosy Tepee (although adults do receive a free mince pie!) and food and refreshments in the Coffee House. In the Sleigh Port there are childrens' vintage rides for an additional cost.

Christmas - What is the Toy Shop and how does it work?

Children take their Magic Key, given to them by Santa, to unlock the Toy Shop. The toys are all on show and available to choose from. The playful Elves will break off from production to help you choose.

Christmas - Is the Coffee House and soft play corner open during the event?

Yes, Piglets Coffee House and the Piggy Pen soft play corner will be open during the Unique Christmas Experience.

Christmas - Is the attraction undercover and heated?

Elements of the attraction are undercover and in warm environments. The Sleigh Check-in area, Grotto, Toy-Shop and Santa's Cabin are undercover and heated. There is a giant tepee with a fire pit for extra cover and warmth. It is wise to wrap up warm as the walking tour through the woodland village are outside. Umbrellas are provided in wet conditions.

Christmas - How long will I be in the activity / event last for?

The Sleigh Ride will take roughly 10-15 minutes (around 5+ minutes on the outbound journey and 5+ minutes on the inbound journey). The Santa’s Grotto, Toy Shop and walk through the Woodland Village will take approximately 30 minutes. If you choose to visit Santa’s tepee and enjoy a coffee, mince pie, or mulled wine or food, plus visit the vintage rides then this will add to your visit time. Viewing the animals in the Animal Barn will also add to your visit time.

Christmas - Is there wheelchair access on the Sleigh Ride?

Yes, the Sleigh Ride is able to accommodate one wheelchair on each flight. The tracks through the woodland village are composed of compressed bark and wheelchairs will be able run over it. Once you have booked your tickets, could you please email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com with your booking reference number so we can make sure your flight runs as smoothly as possible.

Christmas - Are there restrooms available near the Sleigh Ride?

Restrooms are available at Piglets Coffee House before and after your Sleigh Ride. There are also restrooms next to Santa’s tepee in the Woodland Village.

Christmas - Can we bring a picnic?

As the main park is closed and the Christmas experience takes place in the woods, there aren't really any suitable areas to enjoy a picnic.

Piglets Coffee House will be open, which you'll be able to visit before or after your Sleigh Ride, and there will be light bites such as bratwurst and waffles available in the departure lounge and cosy tepee.
