Christmas Teddy Bear Workshop – FAQ’s
Dates
The Teddy Bear Workshop will be open on the same dates as the Magical Sleigh Ride event at Piglets which starts on November 21st and goes through to Christmas Eve. (Please note we are closed on the first three Tuesday’s).
Tickets
This is a stand-alone event which we advise you to book in advance. Its also £3 cheaper if you do it on-line! You don’t need Magical Sleigh ride tickets but you can purchase these as well if you want. There are separate sections on our website for you to book the Christmas Teddy Bear Workshop sessions and the Magical Sleigh Rides.
Timings
There are up to seven sessions a day every hour on the half an hour starting at 11:30am and going through to 5:30pm. We anticipate each session to last between 30 – 40 minutes. Please be at the Teddy Bear Workshop marquee 10 minutes before your session start time. If you are planning on doing the Magical Sleigh Ride before you must leave at least one and a half hours to complete this. Please note you cannot return to the woodland area after you have got the sleigh ride back. You must not be late for your Magical Sleigh Ride even if you are on site. If you have completed the Teddy Bear Workshop before your Magical Sleigh Ride and have some spare time you can wait in the departure lounge area and there are some activities to keep your little ones entertained including visiting the Polar Post Office.
Where
It is located in its own special marquee right next door to the departure lounge.
What you get
Not only do you get an unforgettable experience and a decent sized super soft teddy that you can keep forever you also get your very own birth certificate to fill in on the day with all the special details about your teddy.
Designs
We have a number of different bears to choose from. We have a couple of seasonal inspired teddies including a husky and a reindeer and then the others range from pigs to bunnies, to highland cows and even a dinosaur! There really is something for everyone. (Designs are subject to availability on the day).
Outfits
Outfits that fit all the bears are available for sale at the end of the sessions and are priced at £12 each. This is an optional extra and is card payment only.
Family/Friends
Family and friends of the Teddy Bear Workshop participants are welcome to join us in the Teddy Bear Workshop marquee without buying a ticket and there will be some seating provided.
Photographs
Please try to ensure you only get your little ones in the pictures. If you would like a family shot at the end of the session we will only be too happy to take it for you.
